I've been using godaddy.com for years now. They are a very reliable
service, with great customer service, and I've never had a problem
with them. Totally acceptable prices as well (although I believe there
may be other slightly cheaper options).

My only complaint would be, their online user interface for uploading
files/managing your website/etc. is atrocious. It's design changes
with the wind, and it's always confusing. However, it's something I've
been able to live with.

Im with godaddy for about 2 years. Only issue I have is there mysql
server seems to time out at least 2 to 3 times a month, there website
manager is crappy, but I use ftp to upload to site, so I never go on it.

Depending on ur website there are cheaper host. I had bluehost for a
year and would never recommend them, way to much downtime.

I did hear good things about hostgator.

We've been using www.sibername.com for both hosting and domain. The
domain is free with the hosting plans we use.

I don't recall one instance of downtime to date.
