Greetings!

Trying to run a Virtual image at home on a dual monitor setup (w/
Vista). It insists on using the primary monitor at all times when
firing up the virtual image (XP w/ citrix conx required for work).
Does anyone now how to force it to use the second monitor? Since the
virtual desktop takes over the entire screen, there's no way to drag
it to the second monitor :o)

Regards,
Thomas

What are you using as your virtualization engine? VMware, Xen,
VirtualPC? My version of VMware Workstation 6.5.3 will let me select
which monitor.

That being said, when I remote desktop using RDP (not as fancy as Citrix
XenApp) I have the same problem: it forces me to the main monitor.

VMWare. Where/how did you specify the target window?

This is the location of the player and said image:

"C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Player\vmplayer.exe"
"C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware ACE\X\Y Image.vmx"

When that fires up, I then have to activate a Citrix connection
through the VM image :o)

Thomas

Maybe i'm mis-understanding the issue, but can't you use your video
card's multi-monitor setup to specify certain programs to run on
certain screens? I've seen this with ATI control panel's in multi-
monitor setup, not sure with NVidia though.

I see nothing whereby I can force a program to open in another window
by default. All I see are standard monitor controls
(gamma/resolution etc etc).
